General information about Corsica Ferries
Corsica Ferries – Sardinia Ferries is the market-leading ferry company on Corsica routes, founded in 1968 in Bastia (Haute-Corse, France) with the original aim of connecting the island with the ports of the Italian mainland. With more than half a century of history, the company has become one of the leading operators in the western Mediterranean, carrying more than 3 million passengers a year across an extensive network that today covers France, Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, the island of Elba and the Balearic Islands (Mallorca and Menorca). Its vessels are easily recognised by their bright yellow hulls, a distinctive visual hallmark in Mediterranean ports. The company is jointly owned by two entities: Corsica Ferries France SAS (France) and Forship Spa (Italy), reflecting its Franco-Italian character. Its fleet of 13 vessels — mostly from the Mega Express series — is capable of deploying up to 30 daily sailings at peak season, thanks to a route network spanning more than 60 connections across the whole network.

Corsica Ferries routes and timetables
The Corsica Ferries network is one of the densest in the western Mediterranean. Routes from France operate year-round with regular night crossings to Bastia and Ajaccio; seasonal routes intensify from June to September. Routes from Italy, especially Livorno–Bastia, are the fastest from the mainland to Corsica.
Frequencies vary considerably between low and high season. In summer (July–August) up to 30 daily sailings are reached across the whole network. Balearic routes are seasonal (spring–autumn). Arrive with your vehicle at least 60 minutes before departure; without a vehicle, 30 minutes before.

Luggage, vehicles and pets on Corsica Ferries
Luggage
Corsica Ferries allows hand luggage to be brought on board at no extra charge. No weight or item limits are specified for hand luggage carried by the passenger themselves. If travelling with a vehicle, bear in mind that the vehicle deck remains closed during the crossing: everything you need during the journey (medicines, documents, toiletries, etc.) must be removed from the vehicle before boarding.
Vehicles
Corsica Ferries accepts cars, motorbikes, vans, caravans and motorhomes on all vessels in the Mega Express series. Vehicle decks can accommodate between 460 and 700 vehicles depending on the vessel. If travelling with a vehicle, you must check in at the terminal at least 60 minutes before departure to complete embarkation. The ticket price varies according to the length and height of the vehicle. Caravans and motorhomes are subject to availability of taller vehicle space on the vehicle deck; check when booking. The Top Position option (from €2) allows you to secure a preferred spot on the vehicle deck to make disembarkation easier on arrival.
Pets
Pets are welcome on board all Corsica Ferries vessels, with a fee from €17 per journey. The Mega Regina has specially equipped dog-friendly cabins for passengers travelling with dogs. Pets must always be under their owner's supervision and are not permitted in catering areas (restaurant, cafeteria, self-service). On vessels that do not have pet-friendly cabins, pets must remain in the vehicle on the vehicle deck during the crossing; for long or overnight crossings, booking a pet-friendly cabin is therefore especially recommended. Pet spaces are limited and must be booked at the same time as the ticket.
Corsica Ferries does not issue electronic tickets as PDF files: you will not receive an email attachment. Instead, you will receive a booking confirmation and will need to print or show your booking code at the terminal. Remember to arrive with sufficient time to spare (30 min without a vehicle, 60 min with a vehicle) to avoid boarding problems.
