Denia to Mallorca Ferry: One Route, to Palma via Ibiza

Denia to Mallorca Ferry: One Route, to Palma via Ibiza

With Balearia · 7 sailings weekly · 5:15 hours

To get from Denia to Mallorca by ferry there is only one route: Denia Palma, with Baleària and a stopover in Ibiza. It leaves the port of Denia and arrives at the port of Palma, in the capital of Mallorca.

Mallorca has two passenger ports, Palma and Alcudia, but from Denia you can only reach Palma. If your destination is the north, you will have to continue by road, about 55 km.

From Valencia and Barcelona there are more ferry companies and more departures to Palma and to Alcudia.

Residents of the Balearic Islands get a 75% discount on the passenger fare, not on the car.

Denia has only Baleària: one ferry linking Denia, Ibiza and Palma. Trasmed and GNV leave from Barcelona and Valencia, not from Denia.

Denia Mallorca ferry price

The price you see above is the lowest recent one for an adult without a car, with its date. There is only one ferry company: the differences come from the date, the accommodation (superior seat or cabin) and the car. With Baleària, the Mini fare cannot be cancelled and the Reducida allows changes and refunds depending on the days.

Balearic Islands resident discount

If you live in the Balearic Islands you get a 75% discount on the passenger ticket, not on the car. Say you are a resident in the search on iloveferry.com/ferris and bring your DNI or NIE with a certificate of residence. If someone on the booking is not a resident, make separate bookings. More in Balearic Islands resident discount.

Large family discount

20% (general) or 50% (special) off the passenger fare, with a valid Spanish card. It does not apply to the car. More in ferry with large family discount.

Denia Mallorca ferry with a car

Baleària carries cars, motorbikes, vans and motorhomes. Give the make and model when you book and arrive at least 90 minutes before. The car stays on board during the stopover in Ibiza and disembarks in Palma. In Denia you can reserve parking as an extra service when you buy your ticket.

Ports of Denia and Mallorca

How to get to the port of Denia and where to park

The ferry leaves from the Baleària terminal in the port of Denia, at the Moll de la Pansa, next to the city centre. Denia is about 100 km from Valencia and from Alicante. At the terminal there is a ticket office where you can collect boarding passes or ask questions, and a waiting area. From the centre, a free boat, the Panseta, crosses to the terminal.

Where to leave the car

There is a short-stay car park (P1, with a maximum of one hour) and two long-stay ones (P2 and P3). The first 45 minutes are free in all of them. You can reserve a space as an extra service when you buy your ticket, on the website, by phone or at the ticket office; in summer it is a good idea to do so.

Palma or Alcudia: which port to choose

From Denia, the only arrival port in Mallorca is Palma, in the capital and next to the centre. If your hotel is in the north, in the bay of Alcudia, Playa de Muro or Can Picafort, the alternative is to go to Alcudia from Barcelona, with Baleària and Trasmed.

Documents for boarding

Domestic route: valid DNI, NIE or passport. With a discount, certificate of residence or large family card. With a car, vehicle registration document and insurance.

I Love Ferry tips for travelling from Denia to Mallorca

  1. Confirm your port. From Denia you only reach Palma; if you are going to the north, allow about 55 km of road.
  2. Do not count on getting off in Ibiza. The ticket is one continuous journey to Palma.
  3. Book a cabin if you arrive at night.
  4. Compare with Valencia. It has more ferry companies and more departures, if the road suits you.
  5. Enter a valid mobile number. Baleària notifies you of changes due to bad weather and offers alternatives.
