The ferry between San Sebastián de La Gomera and Los Cristianos crosses in less than an hour. It leaves from the port of San Sebastián, in the capital of La Gomera, and arrives at Los Cristianos, in the south of Tenerife.
It is run by Fred Olsen and Baleària. There are sailings every day of the year, from the morning until the evening, and you can take a car, a motorbike, a bicycle and a pet.
It is the only direct line between La Gomera and Tenerife. Valle Gran Rey and Playa de Santiago have no direct ferry to Tenerife.

Ferry to La Gomera with a large family
The regulations give a 20% discount to a general large family and 50% to a special one on national regular maritime transport. Bring the certificate in force. More information in ferry with large family discount.
San Sebastián to Los Cristianos ferry with a car
You can board a car, van, motorbike, bicycle or caravan. State the vehicle when you search. A vehicle cannot travel without a passenger.
You cannot get to the car during the crossing. If it is a rental, check with the company that it can be taken to Tenerife.
San Sebastián to Los Cristianos ferry with a dog
Fred Olsen carries pets with their own ticket and limited places: in a carrier, in a kennel on deck with a camera, or loose on a lead next to your seat. A microchip is required.
Baleària offers a mat next to your seat, a seat for a carrier and calm kennels, with a valid health record. On both, the dog cannot stay in the car. More information in travelling by ferry with a dog.

How to get to the port of San Sebastián de La Gomera
The port is next to the centre of the capital, a short walk from the old town. The island's buses stop in San Sebastián and there are taxis and car hire.

Arriving at the port of Los Cristianos
Los Cristianos is in Arona, in the south of Tenerife, next to the beach and close to Tenerife South airport. The TF-1 motorway connects with the rest of the island.
To get to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, there is a Ferry Bus between the capital and this port (no pets).
Documents for boarding to La Gomera
It is a route between islands: adults need a valid DNI, NIE or passport. If you have a resident or large family discount, bring the document that proves it. With a pet, its health record.
