How to get to the port of Huelva

Arriving in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The ferry docks at the port of Santa Cruz, in the north of the island, close to the centre of the capital. From there, the TF-1 motorway takes you to the south and to Tenerife Sur airport in around an hour; if you are going to Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas or Costa Adeje, allow for that drive.
The Huelva ferry does not go to Los Cristianos. To continue to La Gomera, La Palma or El Hierro you have to go by road to Los Cristianos.
Documents for the Huelva Tenerife ferry
A valid identity document, with no printed boarding pass. With a car: vehicle registration document, technical data sheet and insurance. For the resident or large family discount, the document that proves it. With a pet, a microchip and the documents required by law.
