How to get to the port of Huelva
The ship sails from the port of Huelva, in the south-west of the mainland. If you travel with a car, arrive with more time to spare than on a short route; the exact check-in time is on your ticket. We do not have the terminal address: use the one on your ticket.
Arrival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The ship docks at the port of Santa Cruz, in the north of the island, close to the centre of the capital. From there, the TF-1 motorway takes you to the south and to Tenerife South airport in about an hour; if you are going to Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas or Costa Adeje, allow for that drive.
The Huelva ship does not go to Los Cristianos. To continue to La Gomera, La Palma or El Hierro you need to go by road to Los Cristianos.
Documents for the Huelva to Tenerife ferry
A valid identity document; no printed boarding pass is needed. With a car: vehicle registration document, technical data sheet and insurance. For the resident or large family discount, the document that proves it. With a pet, the microchip and the documents required by law.
