Oran to Valencia Ferry: Baleària, Car and Documents
With Balearia · from 19 h 30 min
To get from Oran to Valencia by ferry, the ferry company is Baleària. It sails from the port of Oran and arrives in Valencia after one night at sea, with a more or less weekly departure.
The ship carries seats, cabins and cars. If you travel with a car from Algeria, the fuel tax charged by the Algerian State is included in the Baleària ticket.
If you have an Algerian passport or dual nationality, you need a return ticket and, to enter Spain, a Schengen visa or a valid EU residence permit. Baleària checks this before boarding.
From Oran there is also a ferry to Alicante (seasonal) and from Mostaganem and Algiers to Valencia. Use the search if your date has no departure.

Who runs the Oran Valencia ferry
It is run by Baleària, which replaces former ferry companies on the route and offers seats, cabins and a car deck. It is the only option from Spain to Algeria that we sell: GNV has no route to Algeria from Spanish ports. Baleària has its own rules for Algeria: stricter changes, fuel tax included and different port access hours in winter and in summer.
Oran to Valencia ferry price
The price above is the lowest recent fare for an adult in a seat. Your price depends on the accommodation (seat or cabin), the car, the date and whether you buy a return ticket. Baleària requires a return ticket to travel to Algeria.
If you book in dinars, payment of any later penalty can only be made in dinars.
Children, minors and discounts
Minors have their own fare; enter the age when you search. National resident and large family discounts do not apply on an international route. An Algerian minor needs parental authorisation and must leave with an Algerian passport; all need their own passport.

If you are exporting a car from Spain
Exporting cars from Spain to Algeria has a separate procedure (DAE document sent to Baleària before departure). It is explained on the Valencia Oran ferry page.
