The price shown above is the lowest recent one for an adult without a vehicle. With a car, you pay according to its type and dimensions; enter the make and model when you search.

Algiers to Valencia ferry with a car

Coming back from Algeria with your car is the usual thing on this route. To take it on board:

  • Bring the carte grise printed, with nothing crossed out and no provisional plate.
  • If the driver is not the owner: an original written authorisation signed by both and stamped by a notary, town hall or public body, and a copy of the ID card or passport of both.
  • Passport and driving licence.

The car must leave with the person who imported it. Between 15 June and 15 September, Algeria has prevented new cars or cars under three years old, vans and goods vehicles from boarding in Algiers: check whether this affects you.

Returning from Algeria to Valencia with a dog

Baleària allows travel with a dog: up to 10 kg in a carrier in the lounges, a pet-friendly cabin (maximum two animals) and a kennel on some ships. Add it when you book.

To enter Spain the dog must meet EU requirements. Check the exact requirements from Algeria with an official vet well in advance. More information in travelling by ferry with a dog.
