Ventouris ferries
Ventouris Ferries (Ventouris Sea Lines S.A.) is a Greek shipping company based in Piraeus (Athens) specialising in Adriatic Sea crossings. Founded in 1980 as part of the Ventouris business group, with decades of experience in Greek maritime transport, the company has established itself as a leading operator in the Italy–Albania corridor thanks to its year-round regular service. Its main route, the Bari–Durrës ferry, connects southern Italy with the Albanian port of Durrës in approximately 9 hours, while the Ancona–Durrës ferry route extends coverage to central Italy with a journey of about 18 hours. Seasonally, Ventouris Ferries expands its network with connections including calls at Corfu and Igoumenitsa (Greece), making the ship a natural maritime bridge between Italy, Albania, and the Greek northwest.
Anek Superfast is the operational alliance formed in 2011 between two of Greece’s most iconic shipping companies: ANEK Lines (founded in Chania, Crete) and Superfast Ferries, both now integrated into Attica Group alongside Blue Star Ferries and Hellenic Seaways. Its mission is to optimise capacity and schedules on Adriatic routes and Greek domestic connections to Crete. Its extensive fleet of 12 vessels operates the most important routes in the Eastern Mediterranean: Adriatic crossings between Italy and Greece (Ancona–Patras, Bari–Igoumenitsa) and overnight connections from Piraeus to Crete. It transports over one million passengers annually.
Ferry Isla de Lobos is the shipping company specialising in passenger transport between the port of Corralejo (northern Fuerteventura) and the Isla de Lobos Nature Reserve. It operates 365 days a year with up to 14 daily departures, and its headquarters are located at the Corralejo Pier, the starting point for all excursions. With a crossing of just 15 minutes, its boats connect the bustling northern coast of Fuerteventura with one of the best-preserved untouched islets in the Canary archipelago: a protected area of just over 4.5 km² where there are no cars, shops, or noise—only nature, crystal-clear beaches, and hiking among volcanoes. In addition to the regular ferry line, the company offers the exclusive Celia Cruz mini-cruise —with underwater vision— and Ferry + Bus packages with pickups from various points on the island, all coordinated with the mandatory access permit for the reserve.
CTN Ferries (Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation or COTUNAV) is the national shipping company of Tunisia. It is headquartered in Tunis and is the leading ferry operator between Tunisia and mainland Europe. Its passenger network connects the Tunisian ports of La Goulette and Zarzis with Marseille (France) and Genoa (Italy), two of the busiest Mediterranean routes between North Africa and Europe.
