To get from Mallorca to Valencia by ferry there is one route, Palma–Valencia, with three ferry companies: Baleà ria, Trasmed and GNV. They leave from the port of Palma and arrive at the port of Valencia, each at its own terminal.
There are daytime departures, on faster ships, and overnight departures with a cabin. The only port in Mallorca with a ferry to Valencia is Palma: Alcudia, in the north, does not have this route.
Balearic Islands residents get a 75% discount on the passenger ticket, not on the car. You can travel on foot, with a car or with a dog.

Ferry companies on the Mallorca to Valencia route
Three ferry companies run Palma–Valencia:
- Baleà ria: fast ferries and ferries, online check-in with seat selection on some ships and alerts by WhatsApp or SMS.
- Trasmed (Trasmed GLE, formerly Trasmediterránea in the Balearic Islands): conventional ferries with cabins.
- GNV: pet cabin with limited places and myGNV Club for members.

The price changes with the ferry company, the type of ship, the accommodation, the date and the car, which is paid separately.
Balearic Islands resident discount: Mallorca to Valencia
If you live in the Balearic Islands you get a 75% discount on the passenger ticket, with all three ferry companies. It does not apply to the car or the pet. Large family discount on the Mallorca to Valencia ferry

All three ferry companies take cars, motorbikes, vans and motorhomes. State the type and the real dimensions when you book. In Valencia, the port is commercial: only vehicles that are boarding enter, and each ferry company has its own terminal. Confirm yours on your ticket before you go.
Mallorca to Valencia ferry with a dog
The rules depend on the ferry company: Baleà ria accepts a carrier up to 10 kg in the lounge and has a pet friendly seat and cabin on some ships; GNV, a pet cabin with limited places; Trasmed, adapted cabins, a seat (under 8 kg, in a carrier) and kennels. More in travelling by ferry with a dog.

The ports in Mallorca: Palma and Alcudia
The route to Valencia leaves from Palma, next to the city centre, with access on foot or by bus. Alcudia, in the north, is about 55 km from Palma and has no train; ferries leave from there to Barcelona and Ciutadella, but not to Valencia.
Arriving in Valencia
The port of Valencia is separate from the centre, and Baleà ria, Trasmed and GNV use different terminals. You get to the city by city bus or taxi. Confirm your terminal on your ticket before you go.
