Mallorca to Denia Ferry: The Route from Palma with Baleària
With Balearia · 7 sailings weekly · 5:15 hours
To get from Mallorca to Denia by ferry there is only one route: Palma–Denia with Baleària, which stops in Ibiza. It leaves the port of Palma and arrives at the port of Denia, in the centre of the town, on the Costa Blanca.
There is no direct ferry without a stop, and the only port in Mallorca with this route is Palma. If you are in the north of the island, the port of Alcudia has no sailing to Denia.
Residents of the Balearic Islands get 75% off the passenger ticket, not on the car. You can travel on foot, with a car or with a dog.
Mallorca to Denia ferry timetable
Below are the sailings for the date you choose. As there is only one route, you do not have to choose between ports: the ship leaves Palma, stops in Ibiza and carries on to Denia. The stop is included in the timetable. In summer there is a daily sailing; in low season, service is reduced and there may be days without a ship. The details of each sailing are on the Palma Denia page.
Indicative schedules and subject to variation by the ferry company for operational reasons without prior notice.
Who runs the Mallorca Denia ferry: Baleària
Baleària is the only ferry company between Mallorca and Denia. GNV and Trasmed do not run this route. It has a base in Denia, from where its ships to Ibiza and Formentera also sail, and Palma is covered with a stop in Ibiza.
For travellers: online check-in (72 hours before, in My Bookings), WhatsApp or SMS alerts if anything changes, and the Baleària Club points scheme. All the conditions on pets, discounts and the port are on the Palma Denia page.
Mallorca to Denia ferry price
The price you see above is the lowest recent price for one adult without a car. As there is only one ferry company, what changes the price is the date, the accommodation and the vehicle. The car is paid separately, and the resident discount does not apply to it.
If your destination on the mainland is not exactly Denia, compare with the Mallorca Valencia ferry, where there are three ferry companies.
Balearic Islands resident discount: Mallorca Denia
If you live in the Balearic Islands you get 75% off the passenger ticket. It does not apply to the car or the pet. Say that you are a resident in the search tool at iloveferry.com/ferris; all passengers on the booking must be residents. Residence is validated with your DNI or NIE, and if that fails, you prove it at the ticket office with a certificate of registration (empadronamiento). More in Balearic Islands resident discount.
Large family discount on the Mallorca Denia ferry
As it is a domestic route, large families with a Spanish certificate get 20% (general category) or 50% (special category) off the Baleària passenger ticket. It does not apply to the car. The first time, you prove it at the ticket office with the original, valid certificate and your identity document. More in ferry with large family discount.
Mallorca to Denia ferry with a car
Baleària accepts cars, motorbikes, vans and motorhomes. State the real type and dimensions when you book. The car is loaded at the port of Palma and unloaded in Denia, where there is short-stay and long-stay parking, with a space you can reserve when you buy your ticket. If you stay on board during the stop in Ibiza, you do not enter the island.
Mallorca to Denia ferry with a dog
Baleària accepts dogs: up to 10 kg in a carrier in the lounge, a pet-friendly seat or cabin on some ships, and a kennel for large dogs. On a lead and, where appropriate, muzzled. Add the pet when you book. More in travelling by ferry with a dog.
